Reuben Sandwich

Ingredients

  • 2 slices Dietz & Watson Swiss Cheese
  • 4 slices Dietz & Watson Corned Beef
  • 2 pieces rye bread
  • 1⁄4 cup sauerkraut

Directions

  • Preheat a large skillet or griddle on medium heat.
  • Lightly butter on one side of two rye bread slices.
  • Spread the other non-buttered bread sides with thousand island (if desired).
  • On the opened bread slice, corned beef, sauerkraut and Swiss cheese.
  • Close sandwich with remaining bread slice, buttered side out.
  • Place sandwich on skillet, giving it a nice grill for about 4-5 minutes until each side is golden brown.
  • Serve hot and enjoy.
