Maple Bacon Popcorn
There’s no need to discard your bacon drippings when you can use them to make this savory popcorn recipe. The maple syrup makes this popcorn taste almost like kettle corn.

Ingredients
- 2 tbsp. bacon drippings
- 1⁄4 cup popcorn
- 1 tbsp. maple syrup
- 1⁄4 tsp. salt
Directions
- In a 2-quart saucepan over medium heat, add bacon drippings. Once they just begin to smoke, slowly pour in popcorn and maple syrup. Place a lid with vent to steam and shake saucepan every 30 seconds.
- After about 5 minutes, or when the popcorn stops popping, shake saucepan vigorously, then pour popcorn into a bowl. Season with salt, then serve.
