Ingredients
- 1 pound chicken breast, cut into 1″ pieces
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1⁄2 tsp. ground black pepper
- 1⁄2 tsp. Kroger Brand Crushed Red Pepper
- 1 cup Kroger Brand Heavy Whipping Cream
- 1 onion, chopped
- 2 carrots, chopped
- 2 ribs celery, chopped
- 2 tsp. garlic, minced
- 16 oz. potato gnocchi
- 5 oz. Kroger Brand Tender Spinach Bag
- 4 cups Kroger Brand Chicken Broth
Directions
- In a 1-gallon freezer bag add chicken, salt, pepper, cream, onion, carrot, celery, garlic, gnocchi and spinach. Squeeze out extra air, seal, and flatten. Clearly date and label the bags. Freeze for up to 3 months.
- To prepare in a slow cooker: Thaw the bags overnight in the refrigerator or under cool running water for 1-2 hours. Place the broth and the contents of the freezer bag in a 6-quart or larger slow cooker; stir to combine. Cover and cook on high for 2-3 hours or until chicken is tender and reaches an internal temperature of 165°F. Adjust seasoning to taste.
- To prepare in an pressure cooker: Place broth and frozen contents of the bag in the insert. Twist the lid to close and turn the valve to seal. Select manual function and set timer for 20 minutes or until chicken reaches an internal temperature of 165°F. Carefully and quickly release remaining pressure. Adjust seasoning to taste.
- Refrigerate leftovers.
