Banana Pudding

This classic dessert features layers of vanilla pudding, fresh banana slices, and vanilla wafers, all assembled in a dish. The result is a creamy, sweet, and comforting dessert with a delightful combination of flavors and textures.

Ingredients

  • 6 bananas
  • 1 box of butter shortbread cookies or vanilla wafer cookies
  • 1 8 oz can of sweetened condensed milk
  • 2 packs of banana or vanilla pudding
  • 1 8 oz pack of softened cream cheese
  • 1 8 oz heavy whipping cream
  • 2 cups milk

Directions

  • Chop bananas into small slices. Set aside.
  • Mix together the cream cheese and condensed milk.
  • Make pudding mix as directed on box and mix with cream cheese and condensed milk.
  • Fold whipped cream into mixture gently until combined.
  • In a trifle bowl, add a layer of the pudding mixture, then a layer of bananas and wafer or shortbread cookies. Repeat these alternating layers until the mixture is all used.
  • Top of the bowl with a layer of wafer or shortbread cookies.
  • Whip the heavy whipping cream until thickened.
  • Chill until set and serve cold.
