  The 2023 growing season began with cooler, wetter conditions that replenished soil moisture and set the stage for healthy vine development. As temperatures rose in May, the warmth accelerated vine growth and led to an early budbreak. The remainder of the season progressed in a balanced and steady manner. Harvest arrived right on schedule, yielding grapes marked by remarkable intensity, depth, and concentration–hallmarks of a vibrant and expressive vintage. This smooth Merlot offers a pure velvet mouthfeel with deep and delicious flavors of black fruit, cedar, tobacco and cassis. It conveys concentrated richness and added softness from the subtle tannin structure.
