Aiva Black Eyed Peas (aka Lobia) are fast to cook, and has a firm texture. Usually, one cup of dried Black Eyed Peas yields approximately 1 1/2 cups of cooked black-eyed peas. Great source of a natural protein, ideal for vegetarians & vegans. We only sell the most recent crop that is stored in a weather controlled facility so that you can get maximum freshness, Natural Product. Cooking: Sort the lentils and rinse in water thoroughly. Soak in water as desired. When ready to cook, placed the soaked lentils in a pot in a fresh water, and bring water to boil, cook based on the recipe you choose.
